This moderate 4-kilometer hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Balankaleku. Starting at the trailhead, you'll first pass by Buenos Aires Jatetxea, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before your adventure. As you continue on, you'll reach Dolmen Balankaleku 2 Iparralde, an archaeological site that is 1.73 kilometers from the start of the trail. This historical site offers a glimpse into the past and is a great spot to take some photos.

About 2 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the peak of Balankaleku, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. From here, you can see the lush greenery and picturesque landscapes stretching out before you. Make sure to take a breather and soak in the natural beauty around you.

Along the way, you'll also come across Puerto de Etzegarate, a saddle point that is only 0.01 kilometers from the starting point. This spot is a great place to rest and take in the scenery before heading back on the return journey.
