This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Upper Terrace Drive, offering stunning views of Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces. The trail is super easy, with a distance of 1.21 kilometers and an elevation gain of 40 meters, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
As you start your hike, you will pass by the East parking area of Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces, located right at the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, you will also come across the West parking area, offering convenient access to the terraces.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces, where you can marvel at the unique geological formations and colorful hot springs. Be sure to stop by the various viewpoints along the way to capture the beauty of the landscape.
It is recommended to bring plenty of water, as the trail does not have water stations along the way. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before heading out is advised to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
