This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with diverse attractions. The trail is a total of 3.725 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 378 meters, making it a moderate-level hike. It is estimated to take about 1 hour and 48 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Ecozoológico San Martín, a zoo dedicated to conservation and education. You can learn about the diverse flora and fauna of the region before continuing on the trail. The trailhead also has a parking area for your convenience.

As you make your way along the path, you will encounter several viewpoints offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. These viewpoints are located at various distances from the trail, with some closer than others. One of the viewpoints, Río Pastaza, is located right by the trail and offers a great spot to take in the natural beauty of the area.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Mirador, a renowned viewpoint that provides a breathtaking vista of the area. Take a moment to rest and soak in the stunning views before heading back along the trail.
