This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning area around Piz Badus. With a total distance of approximately 15.7 kilometers and an elevation gain of 881 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several water features such as Lai Urlaun, which is located 3.86 kilometers from the start. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter other water points such as Lolenpass, located at around 5.69 kilometers from the beginning, and Camona da Maighels CAS, an alpine hut found 4.17 kilometers into the hike.
Along the way, you will also come across some interesting landmarks such as Piz Tagliola and Piz Badus, both prominent peaks with breathtaking views. These peaks are located 6.73 and 7.84 kilometers from the start, respectively.
In addition to natural wonders and peaks, there are various points of interest such as information points and wayside crosses scattered throughout the route. It's advisable to bring enough water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this hike is long and arduous.
