This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and convenient facilities along the way. Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will follow the path for 8.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 713 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
About 0.4 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a series of benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. Midway through the trail, at 4.25 kilometers, you will reach the Treschhütte SAC alpine hut, a great spot to take a break and maybe even grab a snack. The hut is located just 15 meters from the trail, so it's easily accessible.
As you continue on, about 0.4 kilometers from the start, there is a viewpoint where you can pause to take in the breathtaking scenery before making your way back. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging but memorable hike to Treschhütte SAC.
