Welcome to the Salzburger Freilichtmuseum - Dachsweg hiking route! This super easy out-and-back trail offers a leisurely stroll through the beautiful natural surroundings near Salzburg.
As you begin your hike, you'll come across the Laufbrunnen drinking water point, perfect for filling up your water bottle before heading further along the trail. Around 0.02 kilometers in, you'll spot the Salettl restaurant, a great spot to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink.
Continuing on, around 0.06 kilometers from the start, you'll find a shelter for a quick rest stop or picnic. Just a bit further at 0.11 kilometers, the Aussichtsturm viewpoint offers a stunning lookout point to take in the surrounding scenery.
As you reach the midway point of the trail at around 0.3 kilometers, you'll encounter another water point and a shelter for a break. Nearby, the Wirtskapelle wayside shrine and information point offer a bit of local history to explore.
Throughout the hike, there are several natural water points along the way, so you can refill your bottle and stay hydrated. Be sure to pack plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this enjoyable and easy trail.
