The Sentiero delle Miniere hiking route is located in a scenic area with historical significance. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of approximately 2.0 kilometers with an elevation gain of 110 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead to leave your vehicle. Just a short distance from the start, you'll find a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Continue along the trail and after about 0.19 kilometers, you will come across the ruins of Miniera Valvassera, offering a glimpse into the area's mining history.

Midway through the hike, at around 0.46 kilometers, you'll encounter more ruins, adding to the historical charm of the route. As you approach the 1.0 kilometer mark, be sure to stop at the viewpoint to take in the breathtaking scenery. Finally, at 0.87 kilometers, you'll be rewarded with the sight and sound of Cascata Valvassera, a beautiful waterfall along the trail.
