This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Lac de la Pia.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the Camping Municipal Saint-Jacques, a campsite situated just 0.54 kilometers from the start. It's a great spot to stay overnight before or after your hike.

As you continue on the trail, at 0.41 kilometers from the start, you'll come across an information point providing valuable insights about the area. Further on, at 3.65 kilometers, there's another information point for you to explore.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 8.04 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the beautiful Lac de la Pia, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Along the way, you'll also find a bar just 0.02 kilometers from the trail, where you can refuel with some refreshments. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks with you as there are limited facilities along the trail.

With a total distance of 16.088 kilometers and an elevation gain of 702 meters, this hike is not for the faint-hearted. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out and be prepared for challenging terrain.
