This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Castello delle Aquile. The trail is 7.91 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 368 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by Rifugio Don Barbera, an alpine hut located just 0.01 kilometers from the start of the trail. You can also find parking areas nearby for your convenience. Throughout the hike, you will come across several information points that provide insight into the area's history and natural beauty.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Passo Scarason, a saddle point with stunning views. Further along the trail, at a distance of 3.96 kilometers from the start, you will find Castello delle Aquile, a peak worth exploring. Be sure to check out Col des Seigneurs / Colle del lago dei Signori, a scenic saddle point just 0.01 kilometers from the trail.
