This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Piz mountain. The 4.105-kilometer trail offers a moderate challenge with an elevation gain of 69 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners and experienced hikers alike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, followed by the Schguaguler Schweige restaurant where you can grab a meal or refreshments just 0.15 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will find several benches scattered throughout the trail for resting and taking in the scenic views. About 0.25 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter an information point providing you with interesting facts about the area.
Further along the trail, at 0.43 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water point to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated. Midway through the hike, at 1.9 kilometers, you will reach the Piz peak, offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, the Hexensäule information point can provide you with more insight into the history and legends of the area.
Towards the end of the hike, approximately 1.76 kilometers from the start, you will find more benches to rest before completing the circular route. It is advisable to bring an adequate supply of water, wear comfortable footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this hiking adventure.
