This moderate 6.65 km out-and-back hiking route will take you through the beautiful landscape of the area around 3440.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the Temný les (Dark Forest), located just 0.04 km from the start of the trail. Continue on to discover the Zlatobanská cyklotrasa (Golden Mining Cycling Trail) and the Lyžiarská trasa okolo Šimonky (Ski Trail around Šimonka) approximately at the same distance point from the beginning.

As you trek further along the trail, you will come across a wayside cross dating back to historic times, just 0.04 km away from the start. The viewpoint at 3.33 km point from the start will offer you a stunning panoramic view of the surroundings.

Along the way, you'll find picnic sites and shelters for a quick rest and a spring to refill your water bottle. At the midway point, you'll find the wooden megaphone art installation known as Hlas lesa - drevený megafón.

With a total elevation gain of 278 meters, this hike offers a moderate challenge suitable for most hikers. Remember to bring enough water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this 2 hours and 14 minutes journey.
