This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Antenne Costalunga. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 6.837 kilometers and an elevation gain of 579 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours.
As you start your journey, you will come across the historic wayside shrine of San Francesco, located 2.5 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail, at a distance of 3.13 kilometers from the start, you will find the wayside shrine of S Antonio.
For those looking for some adrenaline, the Antenne Costalunga offers a free flying site for takeoff at 3.42 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, there is another takeoff site at Decollo Costalunga at the same distance.
Along the way, you will also encounter amenities such as the restaurant Dalla Mena at the beginning of the trail, as well as a water source at 2.68 kilometers in. Parking spots are available at the trailhead and at other locations along the route, making it convenient for hikers.
Be sure to visit the viewpoints at Monte La Gusella, located 3.04 kilometers from the start, and enjoy the natural spring at 2.63 kilometers into the hike.
