Hiking : Colle Averto

This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Colle Averto. The trail is 7.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 908 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours to complete.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, make sure to fill up your water bottle at the drinking water station nearby before you begin your journey. The first point of interest you will come across is an information post just 0.56 kilometers into the hike, where you can learn more about the area.

As you continue along the trail, you will pass by a wayside shrine at around the 3.64-kilometer mark. Take a moment to appreciate the historical significance of this site before pushing on towards your ultimate destination.

Midway through the hike, at the 2.59-kilometer mark, you will find another information post where you can gather more insights about the surroundings. Additionally, there is an interesting feature called Str. delle Penise located nearby, providing a unique cultural experience.

Finally, after a challenging ascent, you will reach the peak of Colle Averto at the 3.75-kilometer mark. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views before retracing your steps back to the trailhead.
