This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Turó d'en Cuc. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 7.373 kilometers and an elevation gain of 463 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.
You will begin your journey at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest, including Sant Elies de Vilamajor and Pou de neu d'en Cuc, which are attractions located close to the start of the trail.
As you continue on, you will reach Coll de la Cova, a natural saddle, and Turó de Sant Elies, a natural peak, both of which offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you will come across Turó del Roquet and Coll del Pi Novell, as well as Turó del Samon, each providing a unique perspective of the area.
Throughout the hike, be sure to stay hydrated and pack plenty of water, as well as snacks to keep your energy levels up. Additionally, check the weather forecast before setting out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
As you reach the midway point, you will find information points such as la Cova and Turó de la Cova, where you can learn more about the area's history and wildlife. Take a moment to rest at Font Roja, a natural spring, before continuing on your journey.
Finally, you will reach Turó d'en Cuc, your ultimate destination and a perfect spot to take in the panoramic views of the surrounding area. After enjoying the scenery, you can retrace your steps back to the starting point, completing a rewarding and challenging hike.
