This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning area of Las Masaderas, covering a distance of 20.734 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1545 meters. The total duration of the hike is approximately 8 hours and 39 minutes.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the parking area at the beginning of the trail, ensuring you have a convenient place to leave your vehicle. As you venture further along the route, you'll encounter several points of interest that add to the overall experience.
Around 1.5 kilometers into the hike, you'll find an information point providing insights into the surrounding natural and cultural features. Continuing on, at approximately 1.65 kilometers, you'll come across another information point, offering more details about the area.
At 2.22 kilometers, there are additional information points providing interesting facts and guidance for hikers. Along the way, you'll also encounter the beautiful Punta Falangóns peak, located 2.48 kilometers from the starting point, as well as the Ibons d'Ordizeto water feature at 8.58 kilometers.
One of the highlights of the route is Punta Suelsa, a peak located 10.37 kilometers from the start. Additionally, Passo delos Caballos, a saddle point, can be found at 7.47 kilometers into the hike.
For accommodation options, the Refugio del Paso de los Caballos wilderness hut is situated at 7.32 kilometers from the starting point, providing a potential resting spot for weary hikers.
