Located in the heart of the beautiful Five Terrace Mountain, this hiking route offers a moderate challenge with a total distance of 6.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 467 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a convenient parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the trail, be sure to take in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you.
Approximately 2.5 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the first peak known as Wu Tai Shan, a popular spot for hikers to rest and enjoy panoramic views of the landscape below. Continuing onwards, you will encounter Si Tai Shan at 2.9 kilometers, followed by Tian Bao Shan at 1.5 kilometers.
Although there are additional peaks such as Shuang Shi Dong Shan and Da Ying Wa along the way, these are a bit off the main trail and may require some extra effort to reach. Therefore, it's best to stay on the designated path to ensure a smoother hiking experience.
The turnaround point for this out-and-back route is the majestic San Tai Shan peak, located at 3.25 kilometers from the start. Take some time here to soak in the stunning vistas before making your way back to the trailhead.
