The trail starts at aparcamiento Estación Esquí Lunada, where you can leave your vehicle in the parking area. As you begin your hike, you will pass by a bar where you can grab a snack before tackling the trail.

At around 4.3 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the highlight of the trek, Castro Valnera itself.
