This hiking route takes you to the stunning area of Cuerda de la Pinilla, offering magnificent views and a challenging trail. With a total distance of 13.331 kilometers and an elevation gain of 769 meters, this hike is categorized as extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting off, you will find parking facilities conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. As you venture further, at around 5.95 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the picturesque peak of El Cervunal, offering a perfect spot to take in the breathtaking surroundings. Continuing on, you will encounter the peaks of Alto de las Mesas and Las Peñuelas at 5.02 kilometers and 3.73 kilometers from the start, respectively.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the Portillo del Lobo saddle at 4.81 kilometers, providing a unique vantage point of the landscape. As you progress, you will reach additional peaks such as the one at 5.29 kilometers and 5.43 kilometers from the start, each offering a different perspective of the terrain.
Towards the end of the route, at approximately 6.39 kilometers, you will encounter another saddle known as Portillo del Lobo, followed by the peak at 6.67 kilometers. Finally, at 5.36 kilometers from the start, you will find another saddle offering a peaceful resting spot before heading back.
