This challenging hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Pic de l'Estagnole in the beautiful mountains.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey along the trail. Around 0.85 kilometers from the start, you will come across a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles.

As you continue onwards, at 2.89 kilometers from the start, you will reach the impressive Col d'Aygue Torte saddle, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Further along the trail, at 3.38 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy a snack.

At 3.91 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the peak known as SN1925, a notable landmark along the route.

Finally, after a total of 4.17 kilometers from the start, you will reach the main attraction - the Pic de l'Estagnole peak. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the area before making your way back along the same trail.

This 8.34-kilometer out-and-back hike features a total elevation gain of 423 meters, making it a difficult trek that is best suited for experienced hikers. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate clothing for the changing mountain weather.
