Welcome to the hiking route to Pic de l'Estagnole!
Located in a picturesque area, this challenging 8.34-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a chance to immerse yourself in nature. With an elevation gain of 423 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area at the trailhead, making it convenient to begin your adventure. Approximately 0.85 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a water source, perfect for refilling your bottle and staying hydrated.
Midway through the trail, at around 2.89 kilometers, you'll reach Col d'Aygue Torte, a saddle offering a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, at 3.38 kilometers, there is a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy a snack before pushing on towards the summit of Pic de l'Estagnole.
As you approach the peak at 4.17 kilometers, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views from the summit of Pic de l'Estagnole. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the surroundings before heading back the way you came.
