This extremely difficult 14.4 km circular hiking route, known as Sentiero di cresta, will take you through a stunning alpine landscape with a total elevation gain of 1073 meters. The hike is estimated to take approximately 6 hours. Before starting the hike, make sure to check the weather forecast and pack enough water and snacks for the journey.

As you begin your adventure, you will pass by the picturesque Lago Rosso, situated 6.2 km from the start of the trail. This beautiful waterbody offers a peaceful setting to take in the surrounding natural beauty.

Approximately 3.12 km into the hike, you will come across Rifugio Val Gravio, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy a meal while soaking in the scenic views.

Further along the trail, at around 1.01 km from the start, you will encounter Foresteria della Certosa, another alpine hut offering accommodation for hikers looking to extend their journey.

Colle del Vento, a saddle point located 6.8 km from the beginning of the trail, provides a breathtaking vista of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Throughout the hike, you will find various amenities such as parking areas, drinking water sources, viewpoints, information spots, and even a stunning waterfall, all strategically placed along the trail to enhance your hiking experience.
