The hiking route to Ostré offers a challenging adventure through a beautiful area. Starting at the trailhead, you will find convenient parking facilities nearby. As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Malatiná information center, providing some insights into the area, about 0.35 kilometers from the start.

Continuing on, the trail will lead you to the peak of Ostré at about 4.15 kilometers from the beginning, where you can explore the cave entrance at Ostroňi and enjoy the stunning viewpoint at Ostroň. Along the way, you will also find several benches to rest and take in the surroundings.

Approximately 3.57 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a saddle point with a picturesque view. If you need a break or some refreshments, "Hostinec pod lipou" pub is located at a distance of 0.35 kilometers from the start, although not directly on the trail. Additionally, a shelter is available for hikers about 0.67 kilometers from the beginning.

This out-and-back route covers a total distance of 8.293 kilometers with an elevation gain of 328 meters, making it a difficult hike that requires adequate preparation. Make sure to bring enough water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
