This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking alpine landscape of the Riffel area. The trail is 4.746 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 606 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is an out-and-back route, with the destination being the Riffel peak.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Oberst Klinke Hütte, a cozy alpine hut located just 0.07 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.44 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Admonter Kalbling peak. While not directly on the trail, this peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and is worth the short detour.

At approximately 2.37 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Riffel peak, which is the main destination of this route. From here, you can enjoy sweeping vistas and a sense of accomplishment for reaching the summit.

On your way back, make sure to stop by the wayside cross located 2.37 kilometers from the start. This historic landmark adds a cultural element to your hike and is a great place to take a break.

Throughout the hike, you will also pass by helpful amenities such as parking areas, informational signposts, benches, and a water source, ensuring that you have everything you need for a successful adventure.
