This difficult 9.939-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape around Stafelalp. The trail starts at the parking area and heads towards Haldi, where you will find an information point. As you continue on, you will come across various benches along the way, perfect for taking a rest and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Around midway through the hike, you will reach Pfaffenwald, another information point, and later on, you will pass by Berghaus Oberfeld, a restaurant where you can refuel before continuing your journey. Be sure to check out Butzenboden and Bannwald, two more information points with interesting facts about the area.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, you will pass by a wayside cross at a distance of 0.03 kilometers from the trail. The trail offers an elevation gain of 687 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous workout. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
