This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with a total distance of 2.264 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy trek suitable for all skill levels. The trail starts at Rue des Abbayes and is an out-and-back route, meaning you will retrace your steps back to the starting point.

As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area just 8.46 meters from the trailhead, where you can safely leave your vehicle before setting off on your adventure. Approximately 550 meters from the start, you will encounter a historic wayside cross on the trail, adding a cultural element to your outdoor experience.

Continuing along the path, at around 370 meters from the start, you will find the Trou des Nutons cave entrance, offering a unique opportunity to explore a natural wonder. Further along, at the 800-meter mark, you will reach the Abri de Maredsous cave entrance, providing another fascinating stop along the route.
