This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area, starting from Rue des Abbayes. The route is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 2.331 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Along the way, you will come across several points of interest:

- At the beginning of the trail, you will find multiple water points, located at approximately 1.17 kilometers from the start.
- Further along the trail, about halfway through, you will encounter a historic wayside cross at 0.55 kilometers from the start.
- Near the wayside cross, there are two cave entrances: Trou des Nutons, located 0.37 kilometers from the start, and Faille du Laid Trou, located right at the beginning of the trail.
- Towards the end of the hike, at a distance of 0.8 kilometers from the start, you will find another cave entrance called Abri de Maredsous.
