Welcome to the Route des Gorges du Tarn hiking trail! This beautiful circular route offers stunning views of the Tarn Gorges and is perfect for hikers of all levels.

Starting off, you will find parking at the beginning of the trail, making it convenient for you to start your adventure. As you make your way along the path, approximately 1.4 kilometers from the start, you will come across the majestic "Le Lion de Balsièges" viewpoint, offering a perfect spot to take in the breathtaking scenery and snap some photos.

At around 1.13 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history. Further along the route, at 0.06 kilometers from the start, another information point awaits to provide you with interesting facts about the surroundings.

Do remember to bring plenty of water and snacks with you, as the total distance of the hike is 4.323 kilometers with an elevation gain of 193 meters. The trail is rated as easy, suitable for beginners and families.

Towards the end of the hike, at approximately 1.93 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another picturesque viewpoint offering a different perspective of the stunning landscape. As you reach the end of the trail, you will find parking available for your convenience.
