Welcome to the Obere Innerthalen hiking route! This circular trail offers a picturesque journey through the stunning landscapes of the area.

As you start your hike, you will come across the "Alte Schanze IV," an archaeological site located approximately 0.68 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. The trail also passes by the "Waldheuriger" restaurant, where you can stop for a delicious meal around the 1-kilometer mark.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the "Schubertdenkmal" memorial and the "Kriegerdenkmal" memorial, both located close to the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you will also find benches for resting and taking in the views.

At around 0.46 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the "ehemalige Waldandacht" wayside shrine, adding a touch of historical charm to your journey. Additionally, don't miss out on the "Steinmandl" memorial located approximately 0.83 kilometers into the trail.

For a scenic viewpoint, make sure to visit the "viewpoint" at 1.09 kilometers, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. The hike also provides informational points along the way, giving you insights into the region's history.
