This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Camin. The trail is 8.98 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 681 meters, making it a difficult hike. It is an out-and-back route, meaning you will retrace your steps on the way back.
As you start your hike, you will pass by "Baita dell'Alpino", an alpine hut located 1.04 kilometers from the trailhead. About 1.1 kilometers into the hike, you will come across "Agritur Malga Sadole", a restaurant where you can grab a meal or snack. Further along the trail at the 1.04-kilometer mark, you will find "Rifugio Baita Monte Cauriol", another alpine hut that may be a good spot to take a break.
As you continue on, at around 2.74 kilometers into the hike, you will reach "Baito dei Slavasi", a wilderness hut where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. Near the halfway point of the trail, at 1.18 kilometers, there is a drinking water source available. At 2.74 kilometers, you will find a fountain called "Beco dei Slavaci" which can be a refreshing spot to refill your water supply.
Towards the end of the trail, at the 4.15-kilometer mark, you will see "Mandriccione", a peak that offers stunning views of the area. Additionally, at 4.49 kilometers, you can explore the peak of "Camin" and enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings.
Before embarking on this hike, make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks, as well as check the weather forecast. It is important to be prepared for a challenging hike with significant elevation gain.
