This challenging hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Práu del Albo. The trail spans 6.656 kilometers with an elevation gain of 895 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 3 hours and 46 minutes to complete. Before embarking on this adventure, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Centro de información del Parque Natural Las Ubiñas-La Mesa, where you can gather valuable information about the area. Just a short distance away, at the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area to leave your vehicle.
Around 3.33 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak known as Práu del Albo, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, you will also encounter Fuente la Sirrieḷḷa, a spot to replenish your water supply, and Fuente del Aguilón and Fuente de la Plana, natural springs perfect for a refreshing break.
For nature enthusiasts, there are several peaks to explore, such as Pie Ferriru Norte, Pie Ferriru Sur, Pié Ferreru, and Peña Bermeja, each offering a unique perspective of the area. If you need to rest or refuel, Bar de Tuiza de Arriba and a picnic site are located nearby the trail.
