Welcome to the hiking route to Astegg! This trail offers a challenging 7.068-kilometer trek with an elevation gain of 614 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

The route starts at the parking area near Gasthaus Astegg, where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your journey. As you make your way up the trail, you'll come across the Gschößwandhaus restaurant at around 3.3 kilometers, where you can take a break and enjoy the views.

Along the trail, you'll also find several benches to rest on, with some offering picturesque viewpoints of the surrounding area. Be sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottles at the drinking water station located at 0.09 kilometers from the start of the trail.

For nature lovers, there are plenty of water sources along the way, with one at 3.3 kilometers from the start and another at 3.41 kilometers. These spots provide a serene setting to pause and appreciate the beauty of the area.

As you continue on, you'll pass by Restaurant Pilzbar and a few more benches before reaching the endpoint at Astegg. With a duration of approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes, this out-and-back route offers a challenging yet fulfilling hiking experience.
