This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Pico Redondo / Larrabaltza. The trail is 8.449 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Túmulo Unzá archaeological site at about 1.23 kilometers from the trailhead. This ancient site offers a glimpse into the region's history and is worth a visit. Along the way, you'll also pass by the peak of Zorrobita at 0.26 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
At the midway point of the hike, you'll reach the peak of Urburu at 1.22 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the scenic vistas around you. Make sure to refuel and hydrate as you continue your journey towards Pico Redondo / Larrabaltza, located at 4.11 kilometers from the start. This peak offers breathtaking views and is the highlight of the hike.
If you're looking for more peaks to conquer, you can also visit Mirabon at 2.15 kilometers from the start. Just be aware that El Somo peak, located at 1.49 kilometers from the start, is not accessible directly from the trail.
