This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Piz Pombi in the picturesque area near Mesocco Stazione. The trail spans a total distance of 65.35 kilometers with an elevation gain of 5252 meters, so be prepared for a challenging climb.
As you embark on this adventure, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the beautiful Pozzetto della Serraglia, a serene water feature just 9.42 kilometers from the starting point. Further along, at the 11.06-kilometer mark, you will encounter the scenic Lago Grande and Laghetto del Mot, two lovely lakes perfect for a tranquil break.
As you continue your journey, make sure to stop by the Rifugio Carlo Emilio, an alpine hut located 28.43 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to refuel and recharge before tackling the rest of the route.
