This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Lidaunberg. The trail covers a distance of 8.379 kilometers with an elevation gain of 436 meters, so be prepared for a workout. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 3 hours.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by various points of interest. At the start of the trail, you will find parking facilities at Faistenau Schule and Krämerwirt restaurant nearby. Further along the trail, you will come across Verkehrsamt Faistenau, Alte Post restaurant, and a fountain where you can take a break and replenish your water supply. Bench seating and drinking water facilities are also available at convenient intervals along the route.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the peak of Lidaunberg, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Bärenhöhle cave entrance is another interesting site to explore along the trail.

For history buffs, there are several historic points of interest such as Kriegerdenkmal memorial, wayside crosses, and a wayside shrine to discover along the way.
