This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful landscape of the Handschuhspitze P. 2319 area. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 11.941 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1192 meters. It is estimated to take approximately 5 hours and 44 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by informational points and benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Marienbergjoch saddle, about 3.87 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the area.

Continuing on, at around the 4.58-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Unt. Schafkopf, a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the panoramic views. Further along the trail, at 5.97 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Handschuhspitze P. 2319 peak, the main highlight of the hike, where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of the region.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter benches at various points for resting and taking in the scenery. It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging trek. The trail is considered difficult due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure to be prepared and take caution while hiking.
