This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Fulen peak. The trail spans 13.28 kilometers and boasts an elevation gain of 1077 meters, making it a challenging trek that is suitable for experienced hikers.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Merlen information point, located just 0.18 kilometers from the starting point. Around 3.84 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another information point. Be sure to stop by and learn more about the area as you make your way through the trail.

Along the route, you will pass by the Merlen picnic site and barbecue area, situated right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. Further along, you will find the Gsponbachfall waterfall at 1.14 kilometers from the start and the waterfall at 2.22 kilometers into the hike. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of these natural features as you continue on your adventure.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the rock formation at 1.87 kilometers from the start. This is a unique point of interest that adds to the allure of the trail. Additionally, at 2.83 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Mürtschenalp information point, providing you with more insights into the area.

As you approach the peak, you will reach the Fulen summit at 6.64 kilometers from the start. Take in the breathtaking views from this vantage point before heading back on the trail.
