Welcome to the hiking route to Schreckenspitze!
This extremely difficult 17.861-kilometer circular trail will take you through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the area. With an elevation gain of 1091 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting your journey, you will find parking areas at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, at the 6.4-kilometer mark, you will reach Gröbner Hals, a beautiful saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Continuing along the trail, at 5.86 kilometers, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the area. The trail then leads you to Sonntagsspitze, a peak located 7.29 kilometers from the start, and then to Schreckenspitze, another peak at 8.46 kilometers.
Throughout the hike, you will also find several benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Remember to bring plenty of water and snacks, as this challenging hike will test your endurance.
As you make your way back, you will pass by Moosenspitze at 7.81 kilometers, a peak offering panoramic views of the surroundings. Make sure to check the forecast before embarking on this adventure, as weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
