Vârful secundar Bucșa

This extremely difficult 12.217-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Vârful secundar Bucșa peak. The trail starts at a parking area and leads you through breathtaking alpine scenery.

Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.22 kilometers from the start, you will find the lovely Cabana Diana alpine hut, perfect for a quick rest stop. Further along, at 3.18 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Refugiu Șaua Strunga shelter, providing a great place to take a break and enjoy the views. Additionally, at 0.53 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the Stana din Padina shelter and at 0.65 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Cabana Belvedere alpine hut.

As you continue on the trail, you will also find a water source located 0.22 kilometers from the start, ideal for refilling your water supply. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the hike, as the trail covers challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 734 meters.

Midway through the hike, at 5.29 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Bucșa peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Additionally, at 3.28 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Șaua Strunga saddle, adding a unique element to your journey. Further along, at 6.11 kilometers from the start, you will find the Vârful secundar Bucșa peak, a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area.
