This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Route forestière du Petit Kohlberg. The 4.351-kilometer trail offers a moderate 106.0 meters of elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the "Abri du Col entre les 2 Donons" shelter, located right at the start of the trail. This will be a great spot to rest or have a snack before continuing on. Shortly after, you will reach the "Col d'Entre Deux Donons" saddle, just 0.01 kilometers from the start, providing a picturesque viewpoint along the way.

Further along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest such as the "Borne Limitrophe de la Principauté de Salm" boundary stone and the "Schubert-Stein" historic landmark. These historic markers add a unique touch to your hiking experience.

As you continue on, you will pass by the "Kohlberg" peak at 1.29 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. At around 2.18 kilometers in, you will come across another peak called "Kohlberg," allowing you to soak in even more of the beautiful scenery.

Towards the end of the trail, approximately 1.98 kilometers from the start, you will find the "artwork" installation, adding a creative element to your hike. Finally, you will return back along the same trail, making this an out-and-back route.
