As you begin your journey, you will come across the "Abri du Col entre les 2 Donons," a shelter located right at the start of the trail. During your hike, you will also encounter the "Borne Limitrophe de la Principauté de Salm," a historic boundary stone located just 32 meters away from the trail. Make sure to stop by the "Schubert-Stein," another historic boundary stone located nearby.

As you continue on, you will find the "Kohlberg" peak approximately 1.3 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the area and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
