This hiking route takes you through the picturesque Parc nacional - Camí d'Aigüestortes a l'Estany de Sant Maurici. The trail spans a distance of approximately 17.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 975 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will pass by a serene natural spring known as Font de Sant Maurici, located just 120 meters away from the trail. Further along, at around 560 meters into the hike, you will encounter the beautiful Estany de Sant Maurici, a stunning mountain lake perfect for a scenic rest stop.
Continuing on, the trail leads you to various other water features including Estany Nere, Estanys dels Gavatxos, and Bassa de les Granotes, offering captivating views along the way. Additionally, you will come across the picturesque Estanys dels Gavatxos, nestled amidst the rugged terrain.
