Further along, at 0.67 kilometers, there is another parking spot for your convenience. The trail officially begins at 0 kilometers, and at 0.62 kilometers, you will come across another parking area.

As you continue hiking, you will encounter the Tête d'Albiez-le-Vieux peak at 5.36 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. Moving on, you will reach the Casse Massion peak at 4.55 kilometers and the Col des Têtes saddle at 4.95 kilometers, providing a perfect vantage point to take in the beauty of the area.

At 6.3 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, you will find the Pointe de Chaudannes peak, your ultimate destination on this hike. Make sure to capture the scenic views and memorable moments before you start your journey back.

This out-and-back route covers a total distance of 12.594 kilometers with an elevation gain of 950 meters, making it extremely difficult. Therefore, it is essential to be well-prepared with proper hiking gear, sufficient water, and snacks. Don't forget to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
