Welcome to the Mission Peak hiking route! This challenging 9.648-kilometer circular trail offers stunning views and a rewarding experience for hikers.
Starting at the Stanford Avenue Staging Area Parking, you will begin your journey with easy access to the trailhead. As you make your way along the path, you will encounter various points of interest. Midway through the hike, you will come across Mission Peak, a popular viewpoint and peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Further along the trail, you will find the Free Flight Landing Zone, a site for free flying enthusiasts to land. Make sure to take a break at the bench located 2.05 kilometers from the start to rest and enjoy the scenery. Stay hydrated with drinking water available just 0.08 kilometers from the start.
As you continue on, you will reach McClure Spring, located 3.94 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing spot to refill your water bottle. Be sure to check out the Mission Peak Trailhead for any additional information about the trail.
