Welcome to the hiking route to Mirador de Punta Acutas, a challenging trail with a total distance of approximately 9 kilometers and an elevation gain of 879 meters. The route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and natural landmarks.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, followed by a bar conveniently located for a quick snack or refreshment. Around 1.63 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Refugio de Calzilarruego, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Continuing on, at around 4.11 kilometers, you will reach La Cuta, a peak that offers panoramic views but is slightly off the main trail. As you approach the midway point of the trail, you will encounter Punta Diazas, another peak with remarkable views located approximately 2.81 kilometers from the start.
One of the highlights of the hike is the Mirador de Punta Acutas, a viewpoint situated at 4.5 kilometers from the start, providing a breathtaking outlook of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, along the trail, you will come across the Mirador de Calcilarruego, offering another perspective of the area.
Throughout the hike, you will find benches scattered along the path where you can rest and appreciate the scenery. Information points are also available, providing insights into the natural and cultural significance of the area.
Due to the length and elevation gain of the trail, it is considered difficult and suitable for experienced hikers. Remember to bring an adequate water supply, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
