This extremely difficult 12.147-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you to the majestic Monte Valsacco. The trail starts at the parking area located at the trailhead. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as this challenging hike will take approximately 5 hours and 12 minutes to complete.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by the historic wayside shrine, located just 0.02 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.24 kilometers, you will encounter the refreshing spring known as Sorgente Cop, a perfect spot to refill your water supply.
Continuing on, at 0.39 kilometers from the start, you will come across the peak of Cima Gram, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. For those interested in learning more about the region, there are several information points along the way, with the closest one situated 0.04 kilometers from the start.
At the midway point of the hike, approximately 6.07 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Valsacco itself, a true highlight of the trek. Enjoy the breathtaking views before heading back towards the trailhead.
On the return journey, be sure to stop by the viewpoint of Trono sulla Presolana, located 0.7 kilometers from the start, for a final look at the stunning scenery.
