This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Wändkopf, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 20.397 kilometers and an elevation gain of 554 meters, making it extremely difficult.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area just 0.06 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. It is advisable to park your vehicle here before starting the trek. Additionally, you will find the Almtalerhaus restaurant and alpine hut nearby, where you can have a meal and rest before continuing your journey.

Further along the trail, about 1.25 kilometers from the start, you will reach Ringsattel, a saddle point offering a unique natural landscape. Around 1.15 kilometers from this point, you will encounter Herrentisch, a viewpoint known for its panoramic views of the surroundings.

Finally, after a challenging hike of 10.2 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Wändkopf. The summit provides a rewarding and breathtaking view of the surrounding area, making all the effort worth it.
