The trail starts at a convenient parking space located right at the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will come across a drinking water station approximately 0.25 kilometers from the start, providing a great opportunity to refill your water bottles before continuing on.

About 1.49 kilometers into the hike, you will find another drinking water point, the Zollwiese Brunnen, where you can take another break to hydrate yourself. As you proceed further, at approximately 1.66 kilometers, you will encounter the historic ruins of Zollhaus - Dogana and an information point.

Midway through the hike, at around 1.79 kilometers from the start, is the Hundskoflhütte shelter where you can rest and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Additionally, at 2.01 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint called Hundskofel, offering stunning views of the area.
