This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around Oberhofer Melkalm. The 15.475-kilometer trail offers stunning views and a challenging terrain, with a total elevation gain of 1001 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding.

Starting at the parking area, located at the beginning of the trail, hikers will embark on an out-and-back journey. Along the way, you will pass by the historic Risschloss castle, located 0.36 kilometers from the start, adding a cultural element to your hike.

Midway through the route, at 7.74 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Oberhofer Melkalm alpine hut. This is a great spot to take a break, enjoy a meal, and take in the surrounding mountain views.

As you make your way back, you will encounter a water source located 0.13 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing opportunity to refill your water supply.
