This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Vellacherturm. The trail is 8.765 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1009 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About half a kilometer into the hike, you'll find a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing on your way.

Around 3.92 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Savinjsko sedlo, a picturesque saddle where you can take a break and enjoy the breathtaking views. Further along the trail, at about 1.15 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Izvir Savinje, a refreshing spring where you can refill your water bottle.

As you approach the 1.51-kilometer mark, you'll find Frischaufov dom na Okrešlju, an alpine hut where you can rest and recharge before continuing your journey. Around the 3.31-kilometer mark, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.35 kilometers from the start, you'll come across Vellacherturm, a peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take in the scenery and snap some photos.

Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter benches where you can take a break, as well as informative signs that provide insight into the area's flora, fauna, and geology. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear, as this is a challenging route with significant elevation gain.
