The Brandenweg trail is a 5.187-kilometer out-and-back hiking route that offers stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. With an elevation gain of 307 meters, this moderate difficulty trail is perfect for hikers looking for a challenging yet rewarding outdoor adventure.

As you embark on your journey, you'll come across various points of interest. About 1.84 kilometers from the start, you'll find a bench and a wayside shrine, providing a peaceful spot to rest and reflect. Further along the trail at 1.46 kilometers, there is the Brandenflüh Hütte shelter and a picnic site, ideal for a quick break or enjoying a scenic meal in nature.

At around 2.35 kilometers into the hike, there is another bench where you can take in the surrounding views. Additionally, at 2.59 kilometers, a viewpoint offers breathtaking vistas of the area, making it a perfect photo opportunity.

As you near the end of the trail, approximately 2.58 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Breitnauer Kopf take-off spot, which provides a unique perspective of the landscape.
