This extremely difficult 18.495-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Mannheimer Hütte in a remote area surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. The trail starts at a parking area, located just 0.02 kilometers away from the beginning of the hike.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Totalpsee lake, which is 4.2 kilometers from the start of the trail. The Totalphütte alpine hut is located 4.34 kilometers into the hike, offering a cozy place to rest and refuel.

Continuing on, you will come across the Lünersee Rundwanderweg information point at 2.5 kilometers from the start. The trail also features the Schafköpfe peak at 7.78 kilometers, providing a panoramic view of the surrounding area.

Hikers can find drinking water at the 1.22-kilometer mark, ensuring they stay hydrated throughout the challenging trek. Several benches are strategically placed along the trail for hikers to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

The Mannheimer Hütte, your final destination, is located 9.25 kilometers from the start of the trail. This alpine hut offers accommodation and a place to rest before you make your way back.
